In the ever-evolving world of nail art, there are trends that come and go, but some leave a lasting impact. The Japanese and Korean gel nails are two such trends that have taken the industry by storm. Both of these high-quality, innovative gel nail styles have captured the imagination of nail professionals and enthusiasts around the world, and I was no exception. Let me take you on a journey of how I discovered the allure of Japanese and Korean gels and how they have became the new nail obsession for me.

Japanese Gel nails pop up nail event

Even before Japanese gels made their debut in the US around 2016, I was fascinated by the unique potted gels they offered. Determined to get my hands on these sought-after gels, I scoured social media platforms and found a buyer on Instagram who made it possible for me to try my very FIRST Japanese gel brand. Soon after Vetro a Japanese gel brand was introduce into the American market. Their products sold out rapidly, and while I couldn't get everything they offered, I was captivated by their gel colors. My quest for more led me to discover other brands, and that's when I stumbled upon the exceptional Leafgel Premium, in which it became an essential part of my journey with Japanese gels.

As my passion for Japanese gels grew, I couldn't help but notice another rising star in the gel nail world – Korean gels. The Korean beauty industry is known for its innovation and creativity, and their gels were no exception. Korean gels shared many similarities with their Japanese counterparts, which made them equally intriguing to explore. Like Japanese gels, Korean gels are also a soft gels, making them easily soakable with acetone. Their high pigmentation and long-lasting properties were also key features that set them apart from traditional nail products.

Both Japanese and Korean gels are highly pigmented and engineered for long wear, ensuring that your stunning nail art will last for weeks without losing its vibrancy. The soft gel nature of these products not only facilitates easy removal but also offers more flexibility than acrylic, allowing for "structure manicures" that strengthen natural nails.

One of the most significant advantages of investing in quality Japanese and Korean gel nail services is the cost-effectiveness in the long run. While the initial investment may be higher, the extended wear and durability of these gels mean fewer trips to the salon for maintenance, ultimately saving you time and money.
